2010 Board of Trustee Elections: Active Firefighter Representative
The 2010 Trustee Elections will elect an active firefighter representative to the Board of Trustees for a four-year term commencing June 7, 2010. To assist all candidates, OP&F has prepared an election packet outlining the duties, responsibilities and requirements of Board members. These packets are available from OP&F beginning Feb. 1, 2010.
2010 Election timetable
- Feb. 1 - Notice of Election sent to fire and police departments
- Feb. 1 - Nominating Petitions available
- Feb. 1 - Board Candidate Packets Trustee Election Packet available from OP&F
- April 5 - Nominating Petitions, and Certificate of Eligibility, and photo filing deadline
- May 3 - Ballots mailed by American Arbitration Association
- May 18 - Deadline for ballots to be received
- May 25 - Election results certified by American Arbitration Association and announced
- June 7 - New term begins
