The Board is currently seeking to fill the vacant position of Active Firefighter on the OP&F Board of Trustees. The vacancy is a result of the recent resignation of active firefighter representative David Harker. Ohio law provides for the elected members of the Board to appoint a successor for the remainder of Mr. Harker’s term, which expires in June 2004. Active firefighters who wish to be considered for the position should submit a letter of intent and resume postmarked on or before October 23, 2003, to Board Chairman Robert Beck, 140 East Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
