Scott Maynor, a member of the Lyndhurst Fire Department, has been elected to a four�year term on the OP&F Board of Trustees. Maynor�s term as one of two active firefighter representatives on the Board commenced June 5, and he recently attended his first Board meetings June 27 and 28.
Maynor has worked for Lyndhurst since 1998 and also has worked for the Ashland Fire Department and Cleveland�s Emergency Medical Service. He is a member of Lyndhurst Fire Fighters Local 1676 and the city�s health care task force. He resides in Avon Lake. Maynor was elected by active firefighter members of OP&F in an election held this spring, with results announced at the May Board meeting. Maynor replaces Ken Gehring (Toledo Fire) as an active firefighter representative. Gehring served as an OP&F Trustee for eight years, and completed his second year as the Board�s Chair in 2006.
