Public Hearing Notice on Election Rule

The Ohio Police & Fire Pension fund will hold a public hearing for the purpose of accepting testimony on proposed changes to Administrative Rule 742-2-01/Board of Trustee Election Rules.

The rule is being amended to recognize the use of telephone voting and to outline which vote will be counted in cases where multiple votes are cast.

The hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., in the Board Room at Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, 140 East Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

The hearing will be conducted in accordance with Chapter 119 of the Revised Code. Any person who wishes to present his position, arguments, or contentions in writing, other than at the public hearing, may do so by either mailing their written comments to the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, c/o General Counsel, 140 East Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215; or by transmitting the position, arguments, or contentions by facsimile at (614) 628-1765. Written comments sent by mail shall be postmarked no later than the day of the hearing. Written comments transmitted by facsimile shall be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing.
