There are no scheduled trustee elections in 2013. Please check back in early 2014 for information on upcoming elections.
In 2012, respective OP&F membership groups will elect three representatives to the Board of Trustees; one representing active police officers, one representing active firefighters, and one representing retired police officers.
Feb. 6: Board of Trustees election packet, including the nominating petitions and Certication of Eligibility form, available at OP&F and on the OP&F website.
April 2: Deadline to file nominating petitions and the Certification of Eligibility for individuals seeking election to the OP&F Board of Trustees. The candidate's photo must also be submitted. Items must be received by 4 p.m.
May 3 or 4: Ballots for 2012 Trustee Elections mailed to the respective membership groups by OP&F's independent election administrator.
May 15: Deadline for ballots to be completed and returned to OP&F's independent elections administrator if voting by mail. This is also the deadline for eligible members to cast their votes using the telephone and online voting methods.
May 29: Election results announced at OP&F Board of Trustees' meeting.
June 4: New terms begin.
